Una manera de aumentar la visibilidad de tu blog y conseguir más visitas es inscribirlo en directorios de internet. En esta entrada explicaré cual es la lógica detrás de eso y al final he puesto un listado de 11 directorios relevantes para blogs en español.
Los buscadores usan muchos factores para determinar la relevancia y importancia de un sitio web.
Ya he escrito sobre algunas maneras de optimizar el blog para buscadores, pero aparte de lo que hagas en el blog mismo, es importante conseguir enlaces hacia tu blog desde otros sitios web.
La razon es que los buscadores piensan que si hay muchos enlaces hacia tu web y enlaces desde sitios webs con una autoridad alta, es porque tu blog es importante. Por ejemplo el famoso “PageRank” de Google se basa en eso, y muestra en una escala de 0 a 10 la autoridad de tu web (aunque no se puede contar con ese número completamente).
Si consigues muchos enlaces tendrás una mejor posición en los resultados de búsqueda y también vendrá gente directamente desde estos enlaces y aumentarán tus lectores.
Como conseguir enlaces
Entonces cuando ya sabes que hay que conseguir enlaces, la pregunta es como se consiguen?
Principalmente, si haces contenido muy interesante te llegarán los enlaces casi sin esfuerzo. En inglés hacer contenido para conseguir enlaces se llama “linkbaiting”. Más adelante comentaré mas sobre ese arte, que no es nada fácil.
Aparte del contenido puedes conseguir enlaces a través de webs de directorios especializados o generales. Los directorios en internet son como el guÃa de teléfonos estilo internet, pero varían en que algunos son de pago, otros tienen editores y otros aceptan de todos.
Si tienes dinero, un directorio a considerar es el de Yahoo que vale 299$ al año.
Yo no cuento con un presupuesto de publicidad para este experimento, asi que he compilado un listado de directorios especializados para blogs que son grátis, pero con algunos requerimientos para entrar, para no aceptar todo (para evitar spam etc.).

- Aunque está en inglés el sitio, puedes elegir el idioma correcto de tu blog cuando lo registras.
blogalaxia.com
- El sitio es en español, elige “Registrarte” y puedes definir el pais de tu blog.
blogcatalog.com
- Es en inglés y puedes crear un perfil y luego añadir tu blog.
lablogoteca.com
- Un directorio en español donde tienes que registrarse como usuario despues poner los datos del blog. Hay que poner un enlace desde tu blog a ellos que te darán al inscribir tu blog. El directorio muestran un ranking de todos los blogs.

- A pesar del nombre el sitio es completamente en español y el enlace para inscribir tu blog es un poco escondido en la parte de abajo de la página (”Agrega tu blog”).

- Este sitio en español es más una comunidad para bloggers. Pero hay que haber tenido un blog activo durante mínimo un mes activo y haber escrito minimo 10 entradas.

- Un directorio en inglés de blogs de todo el mundo.

- Es un directiorio en inglés no solo para blogs. Cuando te inscribes puedes indicar el idioma del blog.

- El sitio es en español, y para que te acepten tienes que poner un logo en tu blog.
technorati
- El directorio de blogs más grande y importante del mundo. Es en inglés y ya he descrito su sistema de autoridad y ranking de blogs que muestra la importancia de tu blog. Otra ventaja es que puedes monitorizar cuales otros blogs han enlazado contigo.
top.blogs.es
- Este ultimo directorio es solo para blogs en español y tienen un ranking de todos los blogs españoles del mundo basado en varios diferentes factores. Un requerimiento eso sí es que tu blog tiene que haber estado activo mínimo un mes.
